2009 Official Dates

Saturday August 8th at Midnight: Keeper Deadline

Sunday August 9th: Draft Order Selection Process begins

Sunday August 30th: DRAFT DAY!

Thursday September 10th: Opening Night

Some side notes:

- We will be meeting somewhere (likely Jay's house) for the peeps who are in Raleigh. I am envisioning a few beers being served.

- If I have not heard something from Adams and Kurtis by the keeper date I will begin to consider the thought of removing them from the league. Not saying they could not come back in the future. If I have had no response from them with 3 days or so before the draft we will boot them from the league for the season.

Juan= Worst Fantasy Owner Ever?

It is highly debatable I agree but the truth is that Juan is one of the few fantasy owners I can ever remember not just to have never won a major (which many can claim including myself) but also to have never even made the playoffs in a major from what I remember. I hope my data research is wrong here but Juan's playoff drought is reaching up there with the LA Clippers and Detroit Lions of the world.

Worst yet he always seems to be in the lower middle levels of the league just close enough to smell the playoffs yet so far away that anyone but himself realizes it is just the ganja talking to him.
